Sound plays in studio but not in actual game?

Asked by 6 years ago

I made this phone, were it has a music app, and when I click a song and play it, I hear it in Studio just fine. Moreover, when I bring it too the,actual gameplay, I hear no sound. Does anyone know what might be the cause of this?

Post the scripts that you use for playing the sound and the properties of the sound you are using so we can help you further. EnderGamer358 79 — 6y

All I can say is you’re either using a server (regular) script and you need to use a local script, or you put the sound in the wrong place. We need more info. User#20279 0 — 6y

Hey um if you want music to play in a roblox game in general here is the script below

game.Workspace.Sound = Play

First of all, that script isn't even correct. It would be game.Workspace.Sound:Play(). Second, that is an unhelpful answer. In order to answer this question effectively, I need to know: a) Is FilteringEnabled on? and b) Where is the Sound item located? ZappleOfficial 35 — 6y
