Touched Event on local scripts?

Is there anyway to use the touched event in a local script? I don't see the reason for it not working but here's my code (Very basic stuff):

-- The local script is inside of a part

script.Parent.Part.Touched:connect(function()
	print("Test")
end)

The reason I want to use a local script and not a normal script is because I am making a quest that only starts when the player touches a part but only on the client side not the server side. If this is not possible then can anyone tell me how to call events on the client side without a local script?

Any help appreciated!

Where is the LocalScript located? It needs to be put inside StarterPack or StarterGui

LocalScripts only work inside PlayerScripts,PlayerGui, the Character, Backpack or ReplicatedFirst. By the looks of it, the script is in the Workspace.
