I have an animation made using the Roblox Animation Editor which moves the character one stud backward. However, after the animation is finished playing, the character tweens back to its original position.
COMMUNITY QUESTION
Animation Resetting to Default Position When Done?
1 answer
I’m not the best when it comes to animation in Roblox, but it could be because the animation doesn’t actually change your position. It looks like it but in reality you’re in the same position the whole time.
If you actually want the player to change position, you can try making the player move backward using :MoveTo() on the humanoid or directly change the position of the character...using :MoveTo() too...but on the character itself.
Hoped this helped?
