How to change player name in chat?

You know how in chat, your username appears in brackets before your message? How do I change that to something else? I know it's possible because it's in Robloxian highschool, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Does anyone know how?

You can modify the extradatainitializer module script in chat service

To find it : Chat > ChatModules > ExtraDataInitializer

The first thing you see is this:

local SpecialChatColors = {
	Groups = {
		{
			--- ROBLOX Interns group
			GroupId = 2868472,
			Rank = 100,
			ChatColor = Color3.new(175/255, 221/255, 1),
		},
		{
			--- ROBLOX Admins group
			GroupId = 1200769,
			ChatColor = Color3.new(1, 215/255, 0),
		},
	},
	Players = {
		{
			--- Left as an example
			--  UserId = 2231221,
			--  ChatColor = Color3.new(205/255, 0, 0)
		}
	}
}

You can modify the players part.Just follow the instructions in the players table I think you can just leave the rest of the code alone :) Don't touch the bottom unless you know what your doing and you are set :) I don't really know how to do the gamepass one If it doesn't work please tell me

I see that, but I can only see the script while playing, so the script disappeears once I leave testing mode...

You copy the script(not the contents, the whole item) then leave testing mode. Paste the script somewhere then edit it and Parent it to ChatModules
