I've searched everywhere, but haven't found anything. I put all of the values and named the keys here. The overall goal is to figure out and organize the players from highest scoring to lowest. I considered using if statements, but surely there is a simpler way to do this.
local playerTable = {["Player1"] = player1,["Player2"] = player2,["Player3"] = player3,["Player4"] = player4,["Player5"] = player5,["Player6"] = player6,["Player7"] = player7,["Player8"] = player8}
local previousValue
for key,value in pairs(playerTable)do
if value < previousValue then
end
end

Put it in code block
Where are you considering to put the statement to sort it?
I was going to try and just judge by the previous value and put it into a recursion until it's sorted, but I've never done this before in LUA
you could use table.sort() I dont know if this is what you are looking for but here is a link to it, http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=Global_namespace/Table_manipulation should be at the end of the wiki
