I have seen tycoons like Restaurant tycoon where the player can place objects within a certain area, and these contribute to the players' income in some way. I am not sure how to go about this.
I tried resurrecting some things from the old stamper tool but found this too complicated and out-of-date for my intentions.
Would I need to make some kind of grid where the objects can be placed?
