How to get the Enum code of a material via script?

Using this list as a reference i can write the following script to print the number for the colour:

print(BrickColor.new('Deep blue').Number)
>1012

However while also using this list as a reference for material number enums I don't know how I would be able to get the number if I am only given the name of the material e.g I have a wood part and I want to know the number that Wood is (512) How would i do this?
