This is the easiest script ever, also made it very simple and an easy example.

You will NEED to create a UI with the following components:

  • StarterGui
  • Frame
  • TextBox
  • TextButton

Assuming you have done that, add a local script into the UI and paste in the following code:

local gui = script.Parent
local frame = gui.Frame
local textbox = frame.TextBox
local button = frame.TextButton

redeem = false

button.MouseButton1Down:connect(function()
if textbox.Text == "CODEHERE" and redeem == false then
-- Add additional code here to maybe, reward them an item, etc
print("Code has been redeemed.") -- maybe add a TextLabel to output the status
redeem = true
elseif textbox.Text == "CODEHERE" and redeem == true then
print("Code has already been redeemed.")
	end
end)

It's a ScreenGui, you place ScreenGui in to StarterGui.
