Hiding a Require() ID?

I'm currently making a module with a loader.

I've been hearing a lot about people being able to steal a Modules source by getting the require(id). If anyone knows how that is done please tell me.

Another question I would like to ask is how do I protect myself against this? I've seen some require(id)'s with an ID of something like...

require(0x3A939E0)

How exactly are they able to hide their require ID like that?

Thanks for any answers!

That's not really hiding, because you can just search the hexadecimal number on Google or something. When requiring their asset, it is hard to steal. To make it impossible, just do

script = nil

in your script. If the hacker manages to obtain the script somehow, it would just be a blank script.

If you don't want others to use your module, you can just requiring it by making a new module and getting it like

require(game.Workspace.MyModule)

Hope this helps!
