Cant get game version with game.PlaceVersion?

I am making a changelog script for my game, and I am making it so I dont have to change the values every time I update the game. Here is the part of the script I am having trouble with:

if i == "version" then
	changelog.Version.Text = settings.version .. "-" .. game.PlaceVersion*0.01
	print(game.PlaceVersion)
end

The problem is Place Version is readonly. The best way to solve this is to create a variable for this. it is because your are trying to multiply it. e.g.

local PV = game.PlaceVersion
--in the rest of your code use PV instead of writing out the whole thing

You can multiply readonly variables. You just cannot reassign the value of them.
