Velocity put on player not moving player?

game.ReplicatedStorage.SendRequest.OnServerEvent:Connect (function(Player,Target,Velocity,Damage)
	Target.leaderstats.Damage.Value = Damage
	Target.Character.Torso.Velocity = Velocity
	Target.leaderstats.LastHit.Value = Player.Name
	end)

So, this script has everything working except the velocity part. Yes, the velocity is correct and is being sent to the server. This works on dummys (just rigs) but not players. Is this just something to do with roblox and i have to attempt something different or do i need different code?

One thing to say though, in R15 there is not Torso, consider changing Torso to HumanoidRootPart

Also use FindFirstChild or WaitForChild, sometimes those functions actually fix script

I read this from a forum a while ago: "You have to wake up the object before putting force on it." Which means you have to put two forces on it, and that's why I don't like the velocity property. Use BodyVelocity!
