So my problem has nothing to do with scripts.. but where else?
Basically I inserted a TextBox into a SurfaceGui and for some reason I can't edit the text! How can I fix this? Usually it works with regular ScreenGui's with no problem.

It doesn't work with surface gui. I'd use a click detector that makes a screen gui pop up where you can change a text box in there. After that, put in an enter box and use a remote event to change the surface gui text when you click enter.

add a frame and then a textbox...
