I can't paste my character into Workspace in Studio?

So I make really simple renders. In order for me to make renders, I have to make a baseplate game and play it in studio. Once that's done, I go to Players and copy my player from the list. After that I stop playing it. This is where the problem starts. I have to paste my character into the Workspace so I right-click it and click Paste Into. I open the list and it's not there. I try to paste it in again. Doesn't work. I thought that maybe I used studio for too long at a time so I closed it and reopened it. Then I tried again. Still doesn't work.

Can someone please help or explain to me why it won't work?

I think you've got the player itself from the player list. What you need to do is go into your Workspace, and copy your character from there.
