Is there a way to exceed the the leaderboard limit?

If I go past the maximum amount of the game's leaderboard, it'll turn into -2147483648. I know there's a way where you can change 1,000,000 into 1M, 10,000,000 into 10M, etc, but how'd I do that? Give me a hint?

By storing the actual value somewhere else, then converting it to e.g. 2M and displaying it on the leaderboard as a string value.
