Is there a way to disable core PlayerScripts?

I've been creating a game that does not need to use a lot of roblox's features, such as character control and chat.

I'm finding that Roblox's core Playerscripts are now getting in the way. For example, my game repeatedly is getting this error from ChatMain.Channels Tab:

"BackgroundImage is not a valid member of Frame"

I don't know why I'm getting it, but I don't need the ChatMain Script anyways. Is there a setting to turn off these playerscripts, or will I have to stick with deleting them upon their creation?

To disable the control script, use this:

game.Players.LocalPlayer.PlayerScripts.ControlScript.Disabled = true

And to disable chat use this: This goes in the StarterGui in a LocalScript.

game:GetService("StarterGui"):SetCoreGuiEnabled(3,false)
