I am trying to change the camera to invisicam. So its a 2D camera script, and I thought when a player walks behind a wall you want to be able to seem them. So why not use the Invisicam that comes with Studio. I havent been able to figure out the function to change the camera mode on spawn.
Heres what ive got so far, I am still figuring out all this scripting stuff its new to me so ive got a juicy bit of questions.
local Camera = game.Workspace.CurrentCamera
local Player = game.Players.LocalPlayer
repeat
wait()
until Player.Character
local Character = Player.Character
local Player_Torso = Character.UpperTorso
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Camera.CameraType = Enum.CameraType.Scriptable
Camera.CameraSubject = Player_Torso
game:GetService("RunService").RenderStepped:connect(function()
if Player.Character and Player.Character:FindFirstChild('UpperTorso') then
Camera.CFrame = CFrame.new(Player_Torso.CFrame.X, Player_Torso.CFrame.Y + 1.5, Player_Torso.CFrame.Z + 13)
end
end)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
game:GetService("RunService").RenderStepped:connect(function()
if Player.Character and Player.Character:FindFirstChild('UpperTorso') then
Player:DevCameraOcclusionMode
end
This ^ last block of code is the one that will call the camera change, but I cant seem to find the right one. Ive tried many different things but its been a while since ive scripted last.
Thank you for your time.

DevCameraOcclusionMode is a setting of the Player. Just... set it when they enter. http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Class/Player/DevCameraOcclusionMode
How do you set it?
I thought you had to set it using a script?
As in... Player.DevCameraOcclusionMode = Enum.DevCameraOcclusionMode.Invisicam
Also, don't set the CameraType to Scriptable or else it would be overriden anyway. If you want to use Invisicam AND be able to move the camera freely, then I'm afraid you have to roll your own, or play with the modules already available.
I did, Ive been trying that and It hasent helped yet.
Sorry I meant to indent. This is what ive got now = game:GetService("RunService").RenderStepped:connect(function() if Player.Character and Player.Character:FindFirstChild('UpperTorso') then game.Players.LocalPlayer.DevCameraOcclusionMode = Enum.DevCameraOcclusionMode.Invisicam end end)
Err, In "StarterPlayer" in the explorer, there should be an option named DevCameraOcclusionMode.
And don't put it in renderstepped. It's a setting.
Oh dang XD Sorrrryyy, I have been using Unity lately and thanks I never knew you could do that :)
