How can I change the player's package to R15 Boy on entry?

I've seen a couple of people explaining how to add packages to the player on startup, but I never really understood them. Even though I would consider myself an advanced programmer, I still have absolutely no clue how I could begin to program this. I would (obviously) assume it has something to do with Meshes?

Anything to point me in the right direction would be much appreciated.
