I need to select a random limited from the catalog and basically get its ID as well as its RAP. Right now I have a rather large list of limiteds with their rap and id(and basically selecting a random index from this list), but it seems very inefficient. I was wondering if there is a better way to do this?

I don't think so.
Don't think it is even possible to search the catalog for limiteds. You could certainly only store AssetIds then regularly do marketplace requests to get RAP etc.
