Hey guys,
So, I've lately been wanting to make some very unique and interesting projects and I've been trying to do some advanced coding with ROBLOX and use that to make something that's un-heard of. Which is why, I need to know how to do cross-server communication or, should I say 'quicker' cross-server communication. The reason I say 'quicker' is because I've done cross-server communication.
###I actually completed the script for that today with a bit of help to increase it's efficiency and, the method I used for cross-server communication in there, was data storage and I have recently realized that using data storage for communication between servers is very slow, if you don't believe me go to this game and if you type in chat 'sendmessage' it will kick you and it will start to kick players in other servers which took me like a good minute or so before it kicked the player in the other server. The link to the code if you doubt that my code is efficient, is here. ###Anyways, there's also another method that I've heard about which I can use for communication between servers, HttpService. Using a web server or proxy you can use HttpService's :GetAsync() and :SetAsync() functions to communicate between servers. Somebody said I should be polling through the servers which means I should ask for data every so many seconds from the web server or proxy and if there is any data then that should trigger my function to do certain tasks. However, I heard that this is actually slower then the data storage but, I'm not so sure about my source for that because they thought data storage was almost instantaneous until I proved them wrong with their own code.
###Alright well, in conclusion to this if you think I haven't given enough of an attempt then please tell me so below in the comments. I've been at this for the past five hours and started like last week. But, anyway I want my game to communicate with all it's servers in less then a second and there has just gotta be a way out there to perform this task.
##Well, I hope there is a dedicated enough person to answer this question and thank you for any help that may be offered.

Uhh no it's not practical to communicate in any way except datastore. Requests shouldn't take more than a few seconds. Maybe your connection is just slow lol.
But, I've tried several amounts of time and it's slow every time.
