Hi. I'm currently trying to change a system to work with Filtering Enabled. I'm running into a problem though. When I try to print something to make sure the code is being followed correctly it doesn't show up in the console. It works if I press play, although that does not simulate FE. However, if I start a server then it simulates FE although doesn't print to the console. I have a local script which prints fine.
Part of Local Script:
Update.MouseButton1Click:connect(function() --Departures Board
Action = "Update"
Event:FireServer(Action, HolderFrame.Departures.ChangePlace.Text, HolderFrame.Departures.Status.Text, HolderFrame.Departures.Airline.Text, HolderFrame.Departures.FlightNumber.Text, HolderFrame.Departures.Destination.Text, HolderFrame.Departures.Gate.Text)
print("Fired")
print(Action)
end)
And here is where it should be printing when the event get's called.
Script:
script.Parent.Event.OnServerEvent:Connect(function(player, Action, ChangePlace, Status, Airline, FlightNumber, Destination, Gate)
print("Looking")
if Action == "Update" then
print("Found")
ChangePlaceText = ChangePlace
StatusText = Status
AirlineT = Airline
FlightNum = FlightNumber
Dest = Destination
GateT = Gate
print(ChangePlaceText, StatusText, AirlineT, FlightNum, Dest, GateT)
Update()
elseif Action == "ArrivalUpdate" then
ArrivalUpdate()
end
end)
How come it's not printing "Looking"? Or "Found"? I have tested to make sure that the event does get triggered. And it does. So, what's wrong?
UPDATE: So what happens is the local script fires the event although the server script OnServerEvent does not get triggered. Any ideas why not?

Try inserting a new script in ServerScriptService and do this; game.Players.PlayerAdded:Connect(function() print('Test') end) to test
Make sure there are no errors such as the event was not loaded. Otherwise it can simply be confusion. In a test server there is not only a client output but a server output. Check the server specifically.
So what's happening is the event get's send although the script does not trigger.
