COMMUNITY QUESTION

I want to move a tool to a certain place to the players backpack, is what i did right?

So i want to get a tool from some place to game.Player.LocalPlayer.Backpack. And this is what i tried:

game.ReplicatedStorage.G17.Parent = game.Players.LocalPlayer.Backpack

So, I asked previously how to get the players backpack and i was told many things from others and they didn't work! (in Studio testing) I found this off the Roblox Wiki, or the game.Players.LocalPlayer.Backpack part and tried the code that was written down, and it didn't work!

Since this is my 1,000,000th question on how to get the players backpack (because none of them worked!! >:C ) can you just tell me if this is right or wrong? (the code above)

Thank you and have a great day! -Chez_Guy | Learning Scripter

Yes that should work, but please keep in mind that this must be in a LocalScript due to "LocalPlayer". If it is in a LocalScript and is still not working, I really don't know the problem.

If it still doesn't work, try renaming G17 to soemthing else and editing your code. Mabye the script thinks the 17 part of G17 is a number?

Ok thanks i'll try to tweak it and it was in a LocalScript and see if it works! Thanks for the help in advanced!
