Amount of force I need to apply to a character to lift him up?

I know this is kind of a noobish question, but how do I know how much force I need to apply to the character to lift him up using a BodyForce? No need to provide scripts.

No question is a "noobish" question so long as it is asked with respect, humbleness, and the willingness to learn!

You will want to get the mass of your entire character. This will fluctuate depending on how many items or parts are attached to the character (ex. hats, gear, R15, etc).

Just like in real life, gravity also exists in Roblox. This means that there is force of gravity and acceleration due to gravity.

To get the mass of a part, you will want to use YourPartHere:GetMass(). Basically, you'll want to use a for loop to iterate through all the physical parts of the player's character, get the mass, and add all the masses together. This will result in the total mass of the character. You can then use the total mass to figure out how much force you will need, not just to reach equilibrium with gravity, but to surpass it.
