So I am using the flood fill function in order to fill an area outside of the player's claimed land in order to find out the inside area (I only have the outline)
I am using this code >
function floodfill(Player)
local player=tablclone(nodes) -- clones a table with all the possible land spaces
local function flood4(x,y,player)
if not findintable(UDim2.new(0,x,0,y),player) then return nil end --if land not owned by player
if findintable(UDim2.new(0,x,0,y),GetPositions(Player.Land)) then return nil end -- if in outline
table.remove(player,UDim2(0,x,0,y)) -- removes the node from possible land
flood4(x+20,player) --floods in 4 directions
flood4(x-20,player)
flood4(y+20,player)
flood4(x-20,player)
end
local plyr=flood4(0,0,player) --starts the functioN?
wait(1)
for i,v in pairs(plyr) do
placeblock(v,Player)
end
end
So in the end I want to know the remaining peices of land that are inside of the outline. However I do not know how to get the "player" table after it has finished undergoing the flood fill. Thanks.
