What are local space and world space?

I was in studio and I right clicked a saw a button that I had never seen before. It said "Use Local Space". I clicked it and I didn't see anything but when I right clicked again it had change to "Use World Space". Here is the local space button. Here is the world space button. I have never seen these before so maybe they were added in the new body mover update or maybe I am just blind but I looked on the wiki and couldn't find anything. I know this isn't really script related but I wanted to see if you guys new anything.

Local space means relative to the part/model you are highlighting, so along the local axis, and the world space is just relative to the X,Y,Z of the world.
