I want to make it so when someone drops a tool it prints who dropped it. Is there a function for on drop?

I don't think so. YOu could check if the tool is in Backpack and check if it is also in the Character. When a tool gets equipped, the tool goes into the character, if you did not know.
You might be able to use, http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Class/Instance/AncestryChanged
Or detect if they press the drop key while the tool is equipped.
