How to make this register the color value?

Hello, everyone.

I'll give you an idea of what the rest of the script does:

Basically, it is a gun script where if it detects a humanoid & a color value, it changes the impact particles to that color. My problem is it makes the color black for some reason, and I am not sure. The reason why I'm doing this is because I have enemies that have different blood colors.

Can someone help me fix this issue? Any help would be very much appreciated.

The code is below.

local	cl1 = Color3.new(part.Parent.BloodColor.Value, part.Parent.BloodColor.Value, part.Parent.BloodColor.Value)

What is BloodColor? Is it a Color3 object, a BrickColor object, a string object?

It is a Color3 object.

Since BloodColor is a Color3 there is no reason to make a new Color3. Here:

local cl1 = part.Parent.BloodColor.Value
