If you want it to go at the same rate but smoother, you can divide both numbers by a third number.
For instance, you may want it to go at the same speed at half a stud (0.5) per wait. Since you would be dividing the distance by two, you'd also divide the wait time by two, giving 0.05.
Here's a few possible solutions: 0.5 studs every 0.05 seconds 0.25 studs every 0.025 seconds 0.1 studs every 0.01 seconds
Hopefully this answers your question.

Are you moving the elevator's position up one stud every 0.1 seconds? If you want a smoother elevator you may want to consider using BodyVelocity. You can use BodyVelocity to apply enough force to keep an object moving at a constant rate. http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Class/BodyVelocity
Or you could move the elevator up every 0.1 studs per 0.1 seconds. It should be smoother than moving it up 1 stud per 0.1 second.
i tryed that but moving it 0.1studs every .1 seconds is really sloiw
