Why does my game have so much server lag?

It is insane. When I play solo in studio, it is fine and there is no lag. But when I play online the server lags immensely. For some reason, every game that I turn FilteringEnabled on lags. How can I fix this? Other games I play such as Arcane Adventures (rare chance it is not FE) has no lag whatsoever.

Make a new place, empty baseplate. Turn on FE and see if it lags. If it does, reinstall roblox & studio RubenKan 3615 — 7y

A lot of reasons I have lag is because I don't include "wait()" in between script actions that take even a split second to do. What I would do is put wait() after. I can when something loads in a script. bigbenbennett 18 — 7y

What? I sort of get what you are trying to say, but if something loads immediately without a wait it would just load, and cause some lag but after that it would be gone. Operation_Meme 890 — 7y
