Why when I make a Gui where you click it the text and borders disappear why?

WARNING: PLEASE READ THE BOLDS THEY ARE IMPORTANT!!!

For my game I am trying to teach myself to script from tutorials, scripting helpers, YouTube, and Roblox Wikia, but no where it says where this is.

I tried Both a Local Script and just a plain Script. I have been using MouseButton1Down, MouseButton1Up, MouseButton1Click and my output says that they are not a valid member of a StarterGui

I am trying to work on a Tutorial where you click the text and the Text and Text Border's Transparency disappears for good! I also used visibles instead of transparency!

Workspace: -Functions Folder that has a Click Function

What is in the Tutorial StarterGui: -Tutorial then -Local Script then -One inside a "Frame" then -Text Button called "Text"

Inside Text: -Backround Transparency "1" -BorderSizePixel = 1 -Font "Cartoon" -Text Scaled

script below:

game.StarterGui.Tutorial.One.Text.TextTransparency = 0
game.StarterGui.Tutorial.One.Text.TextStrokeTransparency = 0

function Click(MouseButton1Click)
	game.StarterGui.Tutorial.One.Text.TextTransparency = 1
	game.StarterGui.Tutorial.One.Text.TextStrokeTransparency = 0
end

game.Workspace.Essentials.Functions.Click.MouseButton1Click:connect(Click)

Please Help I worked 2 and a half days on this!

That whole click function is quite unnecessary, have you looked on the Wiki? You're better off putting the whole Gui in StarterGui and setting a billboard Gui as an adornee to a part on workspace with the buttons in.

The reason is you have to use a TEXTBUTTON. Use localscripts and invoke the server then check if the server was invoked by a script in server script service <= safe way
