Starterplayerscripts works, but only on the first spawn, as does startercharacterscripts. The script can be in either the character or the player, I can script around it, but how would I go about doing this?
COMMUNITY QUESTION
How would I go about giving a player a script every time they spawn?

Put a script in Workspace or ServerScriptService. Inside that script, put a LocalScript. Write all the code you want inside the LocalScript, this will be cloned to the player. Put this code in the script:
game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function(plr)
script.LocalScript:Clone().Parent = plr --or you could do plr.Character
end)

This is possible, but there are probably better ways to go about doing whatever you're trying to do-- what is it, exactly?
I'm trying to give players some localscripts when they spawn.
it should give the character the script everytime they spawn if you put it in the starter character scripts, otherwise it might be something wrong with the code in the script itself
