Simple question, I wanna use Data Persistance, but DataReady is never true. Tested it in all of my games, both client and server.
COMMUNITY QUESTION
Player.DataReady doesn't load?
2 answers
--define player
player:WaitForDataReady()
Have you tried a simple script to test it a bit more? Like:
function PlayerEntered(player)
player:WaitForDataReady()
print(player.Name.."'s data is ready.")
end
game:GetService("Players").PlayerAdded:connect(PlayerEntered)

Yes, I did. As I said, the DataReady never loads so this is useless.
Have you tried that exact script inside a normal script in the workspace?
Do you even understand the question?
Yes, but the only way DataReady will never be true is if you are in play solo mode or if it's being used on a Guest. There is no possible way that DataReady can never be true in players. It's simply not possible, so either you're not using it correctly or you think it's not ready but it really is.
