Why does my jumping pad only work in solo mode and not in online server?

This script is for a jump pad that will make a player flying up a little bit and come down. It only work in studio during solo mode but not in a online server. Help me please!

function onTouched(part)
	if part.Parent ~= nil then
		local h = part.Parent:findFirstChild("Humanoid")
			if h~=nil then

h.Parent.Torso.Velocity=Vector3.new(0,125,0)
wait(0.5)
			end
	end
end
script.Parent.Touched:connect(onTouched)
print("Hello world!")

Line 2 is pointless, pretty sure. Are there any errors? Press f9 while in a game to look at the logs.

No error

You could just anchor the part and set it's velocity to make a standard jump pad. There might be a reason why you didn't do that, though. Are you using a Regular Script?

You can trigger humanoid.Jump to make sure it will do something

I'd advise against using Velocity as it's very unpredictable imo. You'd be better off using BodyVelocity or this script:

local part = script.Parent
local j = 200

function Jump(p)
	local hum = p.Parent:FindFirstChild("Humanoid")
	if hum then
	hum.JumpPower = j --Max Jump Height also forgot what the jump variable is called in humanoid so forgive me
	hum.Jumping = true
	end
end

part:Touched:connect(Jump)

Let me know if this works as I can think of 10 different ways to do this.

I'm pretty sure Jumping isn't a real property, or that it's a property that's read only. I think Jump is the property you're looking for.

Lol. I wasn't in studio at the moment so I was confused on what the properties where called. Either way this should work if they correct the names.

Thanks
