This is a common repeated question on the website, which can be found via the search bar right next to the "Meta" button. But dw, you're new here man, so you probably didn't know that; enjoy your stay. :)

Roblox's official Youtube page has a couple of video tutorial series for how to make your own racing game, and a "mad murderer"-type game. :) Decent sources for learning some basics and familiarity.

Hey, it's awesome to hear that you want to learn how to script in LUA. It's a large language and can sometimes be complicated to learn if you don't start at the right place.

I personally suggest using the Roblox Wikipedia for anything LUA related. They really do post everything that LUA has to do with Roblox on their wiki.

A great start would be their scripting basics tutorials. I'll put the first page as a link bellow.

As always, the community here at Script Helpers is here if you have any questions related to scripting!

As stated by Troidit Youtube and the Wiki are a great place to start. With detailed explanations and some tasks it can help you to learn the basics.

I found looking at free-model scripts and editing them quite beneficial. Once you can successfully edit a script and it still work properly you can try and re-write it. Keep doing this with different models you will soon get the idea.
