I have this script that is supposed to play an animation when I sit, but the animation won't play at all. It tells me in local logs when I do f9 that the remote event isn't enabled. My scripting friend doesn't know what this is.
local plr = game.Players.LocalPlayer
local chr = plr.Character
local good = false
chr.Humanoid.Touched:connect(function(part)
if part:FindFirstChild("specialSeat") then good = true wait(2) good = false end
end)
while wait() do
if game.Players.LocalPlayer.Character.Humanoid.Sit and good then
good = false
local anim1 = Instance.new("Animation")
anim1.AnimationId = "rbxassetid://552805916"
local Anim = chr.Humanoid:LoadAnimation(anim1)
Anim:Play()
end
end

Doesn't an animation have to be parented to the character model?
No, not if you load the animation in the humanoid
