Hi all! Quick question here. I've been using these commands below on an NPC to equip and unequip tools.
Humanoid:EquipTool(toolLocation)
Humanoid:UnequipTools()
It's been working great, but here's the strange thing: The Roblox Wikia says it should only work on "humanoids which are associated with a player". Also, each time I run the command, this pops up in the output: UnequipTools can only be called on a Humanoid with a corresponding Player object. *However, it's not an error, it still executes the command. *
The other method I was originally trying was cloning the tool and setting it's parent to the NPC, but that wasn't working. The tool would disappear. The only instance in which the NPC retained the tool is when it was holding it when the place first ran.
Here's the question: Is this "warning" an issue? Should I be using the other method I mentioned? Or is this perfectly fine? I've had success so far.

I would say you should avoid using a "feature" that has documentation saying it shouldn't happen -- Roblox could at any time fix it, which would break your scripts. I'm not experienced in making NPCs hold tools, however, and so do not know of an easy alternative.
