How would I go about making this leaderboard?

Good afternoon all,

I am wondering how all of you make a custom player list for your games. I am making a game and I want to display after each round the players and how much they have earned and what their current level is. I know I would do something like an OnPlayerEnter type thing,

  • I am not asking for a request but for some guidance*

Thanks,

Antux

You would just compare every player's scores and order them and display that player's level and score

First things first, your not putting any effort. And here is a youtube video on a leaderboard, it is old but it still works! Click here for the video! For the excellent channel, click here!

what do you mean by that? a style, or what?

Edited 2 years later, I cringe at my own mistakes...

Well, you would need to do stuff like:

game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function(Plr)
    local stats = Instance.new('Folder' , Plr) --After the comma you put in the parent
    stats.Name = "leaderstats" --Anything named like this will be pulled into the leaderstats
    local Level = Instance.new('IntValue' , stats)
    level.Name = "Level"
    level.Value = 1
end)

That is how you make one stat, to add more, just add more values inside of the stats folder, hope it helps!
