Could you actually include the, you know, script you tried?

?? A Cframe is already set up.... It holds it 30 away... The only problem is that I keep falling through the baseplate I forgot the method to fixing so went here.

But your using a weld? Don't use a weld, use a function to fire whenever the player moves, then make it calculate a distance x amount away from the torso and set the parts cf to that position, no welds. Welds are only usefull for small things

Any examples of this... Never tryed this before...
