Why isn't cancollide false when I run this script?

This script is meant to find the fish wall within the folder called "Maps" in the workspace. The map is randomly generated. This is a server script. However, this script doesn't work and I don't know why. The "chosenmap" variable is local BTW.

for i = 5,0,-1 do
	timer = i
	status.Value = 'Get ready to cross in... '..timer
	if i == 0 then
		status.Value = "GOOOOOOOOO!"
		chosenmap.FishWall.CanCollide = false
		break
	end
wait(1)
end

Are you trying do make just one part CanCollide false? If so, you need "chosenmap.FishWall".

When I do that, it doesn't work. The "chosenmap" variable is local BTW.

It'd be better to just but that after the loop and get rid of lines 4, 7, and 8.
