How to make lights sync to music beat?

I have had a question about how to make lights sync to like a music beat playing the workspace. First I already have a song in workspace and the soundid and stuff so I dont know if their is any command that can actually listen to the beat of the song.

Thanks!

Its basically like in Club Tesla where the lights sync Here is the game to Club Tesla https://www.roblox.com/games/454710877/Club-Tesla

The only way I can think of it is, you may have to customize it yourself so when the music reaches a certain time, the lights flicker.

I second this. I see no possible way to sync lights to follow a beat of a song without you personally scripting the lights to flicker at exact moments of the song. They probably keep track of TimePosition and know which second a certain 'bass' or whatever will happen, then act on it

What do you mean by "I second this"? Meaning you disagree?

Well, a long time ago, I answered that you'd have to make your own pattern or algorithm, and asked ROBLOX to make their own API. They listened!

You can now use a property called ``PlaybackLoudness

Player's have taken this new feature on sounds VERY far, and it's even possible to make a singing NPC with a mouth that moves up and down depending on the volume, OR those dubstep green and yellow bar things. Here's how you'd do so, now:

Sound.Changed:connect(function(whatChanged()
if whatChanged == "PlaybackLoudness" then
if PlaybackLoudness > oldValue then
Lights.Enabled = true
else
Lights.Enabled = false
end
end
end)
