Why won't this work in Roblox Player, it works fine in studio "Note it is in a LOCAL script" but it will not work as it is suppose to in roblox player.

The script is in another script that Loads it into the player once they step on a brick.

script.Parent.Humanoid.WalkSpeed = 0
script.Parent.Humanoid.JumpPower = 0

Localscript starts to working when character has been loaded in roblox servers as I know, but not sure. I suggest you to check it.
