Hey all!
I found out that TextBoxes don't work on a SurfaceGui... I didn't even write any code whatsoever and the TextBox wouldn't allow me to insert text?
Any recommendations?

Take it out of the Folder that it's in. Also put it in PlayerGui and use the Adornee property to put it on the Part in question.

By Folder you mean workspace.Part.SurfaceGui.TextBox for example?
I cannot see Adornee in the Properties
Adornee is in SurfaceGui
Could you please show me an example of how to use the Adornee feature, keeping in mind that there are scripts which are already linked to the current SurfaceGui?
SurfaceGui.Adornee = Part; Was that so hard?
I want to access the GUI from another script within a different part
And this is an issue, why?
Part2 script: Part1.SurfaceGui.Frame Since the SurfaceGui is no longer in Part1, what's the solution to that
And can we access the children of the Adornee like so: script.Parent.Adornee.SpotLight
