Why won't I spawn at my designated position?

local stage = 1
local player = game.Players.LocalPlayer

player.CharacterAdded:connect(function(char)
	char.Torso.CFrame = CFrame.new(game.Workspace["Spawn" .. stage].Position)
end)

Why, it doesn't spawn me at "Spawn1" in Workspace? Help, thanks

Are you using a Local Script? If so, where is the script located?

Have you added a print to that event to make sure it's firing? It's possible this script ran after the character has spawned.

I'm no good at positioning whatsoever, but I still think I can help. Maybe you can try something like this?

local stage = 1
local player = game.Players.LocalPlayer

player.CharacterAdded:connect(function(char)
    char.Torso.CFrame = CFrame.new(game.Workspace["Spawn" .. stage].CFrame.p) -- JI think instead of Position, which I believe returns Vector3, use CFrame.p to get the proper position in CFrame.
end)
