I'm currently developing a game finally and I'm currently creating the characters' outfits and basic functions. I'm wanting to add a simple blinking by changing the face decal's texture every couple seconds. But there's something very ugly happening each time, which is the entire character's textures turning grey for like a 10th second. I've tried multiple other methods for the decal changing, such as changing the transparency(which was surprisingly useless as nothing changed at all) and using multiple decals, so they could load and then changing their parent. Unfortunately each attempt I made came to the same result: The blinking itself works, but the greying is not stoppable. Is there any way to stop this greying of the textures? Something like preloading the assets somewhere else, so that they don't mess up everything when loading? This here is pretty much my code, if there's any way to write it better, go ahead and tell me:
while wait(math.random(5, 10)) do
script.Parent.Face.Texture="rbxassetid://483880604"
wait(0.1)
script.Parent.Face.Texture="rbxassetid://483874260"
end
