Can you add 1 to a position several times?

for 1,100 in pairs do
wait(0.01)
script.parent.position = script.parent.position + 1

^^ Is this possible in a functional way?

You have to add a vector3 to the position not a single number.

for i = 1,100 do
wait(0.01)
script.parent.position = script.parent.position + Vector3.new(0, 1, 0)
end -- just in case ;)
