How do I move a model without breaking a weld?

So I have a spawning system. When a player clicks the button, it will spawn in a model. The model is welded together. I tried using :MoveTo(), but that seems to be breaking the welds.

So I tried adding MakeJoints(), and that didn't fix anything.

script.Parent.MouseButton1Click:connect(function()
	local model = game.ServerStorage.Plane1:Clone()
	model.Parent = game.Workspace
	model:MoveTo(game.Workspace.SpawnPads.SpawnPad1.Position)
	model:MakeJoints()
end)

So is there an alternative way to accomplish this?

Seeing how you are doing it, try using:

model:SetPrimaryPartCFrame(game.Workspace.SpawnPads,SpawnPad1.CFrame)

or

model:SetPrimaryPartCFrame(CFrame.new(
  game.Workspace.SpawnPads,SpawnPad1.CFrame.p))

(if you want default rotation of (0,0,0)).
