I am trying to make a backflip and before I was using the Torso's lookVector and multiplying it by a negative number for speed which totally works but, I was told to use the camera's CFrame for this for better control.
I am having trouble coming up with the math to accomplish this, so far this is what I have.
-- BP is a BodyVelocity
bp.Velocity = CFrame.new(1,torso.CFrame.Y,1) * (cam.CFrame.lookVector * -JumpPower)
I was told to make sure that the Y of the CFrame was equal to that of the torso's Y so that way it wouldn't send me into the air, which it does in the code above. I do not know how to do this but so far it does bring me towards the camera like it should.
overall what i'm trying to do and need help doing is make the Y equal to that of the torso's so i don't go into the air where the camera is
