How do I use vector2 to effect a part?

It is not possible to use Vector2 on a part in the 3D world. You will run into an error such as:

Workspace.Part.Script:1: bad argument #3 to 'Position' (Vector3 expected, got Vector2)
Stack Begin
Script 'Workspace.Part.Script', Line 1
Stack End

This is because ROBLOX uses a three dimensional world and therefore needs three co-ordinates in order to position objects. Vector2 only uses two co-ordinates, X and Y, but leaves out Z so it does not meet the requirements to position an object in the 3D world. However, Vector3 covers all three co-ordinates and, on the first line of the error, it says: "Vector 3 expected, got Vector2" Which means ROBLOX was expecting a Vector3 to use in the 3D world.
