How can I get my text button invisible for 7 seconds right after someone joins my game?

How can I get my text button to be invisible for 7 seconds of someone joining my game, then become visible again after the seven seconds?

this isn't working, any mistakes or errors?

game.StarterGui.PicWithButton.TextButton.Visible = false wait(7) game.StarterGui.PicWithButton.TextButton.Visible = true

  1. Visible isn't a property, try transparency.
game.StarterGui.PicWithButton.TextButton.Transparency = 1 -- Makes it invisible
 wait(7) -- Waits seven seconds until it fires again
game.StarterGui.PicWithButton.TextButton.Transparency = 0 -- Makes it visible

If you want this to happen when a player enters you should do,

game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function()
	game.StarterGui.PicWithButton.TextButton.Transparency = 1 -- Makes it invisible
	 wait(7) -- Waits seven seconds until it fires again
	game.StarterGui.PicWithButton.TextButton.Transparency = 0 -- Makes it visible
end)

I suggest, you should explore all the properties of a GUI before using them.

"Transparency" is not a valid property of a textbutton. What you're looking for is "BackgroundTransparency". And yes, "Visible" is a valid property of a textbutton.

Got it. I just used it as script.Parent instead of finding it from game.StarterGui.
