Meteor that destroys parts and creates explosion doesn't work for me, help?

So i have asked for help before and everyone says my scripts work and they do what they should, but it does not work for me when i test it. The whole point of this model is to fall, hit a part, create an explosion, and destroy that part. Here is the the actual Meteor, not just the scripts: https://www.roblox.com/Meteor-item?id=464906145

Can anyone take the time to test it?

The problem is with the "Meteor Script". It works for me when I change line 1 of that script from

local meteor = Instance.new('Part', game.Workspace)

to

local meteor = script.Parent

I hope that helped :)
