Hi. I'm currently trying to setup this smoke and fire particle emitter system for my group. I'm trying to make it so when the Particle Emitter fire is disabled, it disables the "on" value inside of it, in which the script inside of the HDSmoke will then read that, disable the HD Smoke, then Enable the aftersm. After about 20 seconds of the aftersm being enabled, it destroys the entire brick. However, the fire is getting disabled by my hose brick, BUT the on value inside of it will not disable, and HDSmoke stays on. (You'll notice I added print statements to try and troubleshoot, but nothing gets printed)

Code for the script inside of the "flames" Emitter:

if script.Parent.Enabled == false then
	script.Parent.on.Value = false
	print("on is false, sending to smoke script")
end

Code for the script inside of the HDSmoke Emitter:

if script.Parent.Parent.flames.on.Value == false then
	print("sending to disable black smoke")
	script.Parent.Enabled = false
	print("disabling black smoke")
	wait(0.1)
	script.Parent.Parent.aftersm.Enabled = true
	print ("enabled gray smoke")
	wait(10)
	script.Parent.Parent:Destroy()
end
